| Mary Tilley Zeman was born 10/16/63 in Jamaica, NY. At the age of 34, after undergoing brain surgery for a benign brain tumor, she began to paint for the first time in her life. In October of 2000, she left her job in television to become a full-time artist. Mary has shown her work at FinsterFest, Virginia-Highland SummerFest, Raw Art Festival London, Folk Fest, the Decatur Arts Festival, Inman Park Festival, House of Blues Orlando, Nordstroms Atlanta and many other festivals and galleries. She has donated her artwork, time and talent to many organizations including Mountainbrook School, Catholic Social Services, St. Ann's over 55 group, Artists for Animals, Brain Tumor Foundation for Children and Paradise Garden and many other organizations. To date, she has sold over 900 paintings and continues to pursue her artistic dreams everyday. |
